According to the #whatsnext – Healthy Working in the Hybrid Workplace study, one striking finding emerges: The issue of mental health is becoming significantly more relevant. 38.5 per cent of the managing directors, health managers and HR managers surveyed stated that mental stress in the workplace, such as burnout, excessive demands and depression, already plays a rather large or rather large role in their companies.
To counteract this, occupational health management is important because exercise reduces stress levels and regular sport increases energy and promotes a postive mood.

More exercise in everyday life
But how can companies support their employees in integrating more exercise into their everyday working day? Michael Omann, CEO of Movevo, asked himself this question and found a solution! He developed the Movevo Move app to make it fun to integrate more exercise and healthy routines into everyday working life, bringing digital innovation to workplace health promotion. The app offers exercises, tips and tricks, as well as regular challenges to make it easier to start exercising and enjoy it.
Move Days – #GemeinsamMehrBewegen
Taking place once a year, Move Days – the digital health challenge for companies – is all about the moto #MoveMoreTogehter. During the 40 days, participants can not only get their own bodies moving through their activities and collect points. These are converted into a donation to the Nico Langmann Foundation, enabling children with limited mobility in Austria to participate in sports, e.g. by providing them with sports wheelchairs or other sports equipment.
Now that the 40 days of intensive activity and mindful health care are over, it is time to reflect on what I have gained from this experience:
Better quality of life
Personally, I found the Move Days to be a revelation once again. This was my second time participating and it was just as much fun as last year. Even though I didn’t make it into the top 3 this year – I am even more motivated for next year.
The daily challenges, healthy routines and additional sports activities have had a lasting positive effect on my quality of life: I feel fitter and more energetic!
My new everyday companion: the fascia roller! It has had a particularly positive effect on my mobility and I can feel a noticeable difference.
Increased motivation
However, of the most valuable insights from Move Days was the importance of motivation and perseverance. As an entrepreneur, there is always plenty to do, and it can be tempting to prioritise work over personal health.
The daily challenges, however, showed me that it is possible to establish healthy habits even with a busy schedule. Yes, you have to overcome your inner demons and motivate yourself sometimes, but the feeling you get from having done something and noticing the difference it makes to your everyday life made it all worthwhile.
Sustainability
Now that Move Days are over, the biggest challenge lies ahead: maintaining the newly acquired fitness habits. It won’t be easy to maintain the momentum and resist the temptations of the old, less healthy lifestyle. But I am determined to stay on track.
Move Days 2024 may be over, but their impact will be long lasting. Stay on track with Movevo, the app for workplace health promotion. It makes it really easy to incorporate more exercise and health into your company in a fun way.
My conclusion
I am convinced that the biggest changes often begin with small steps. I will therefore continue to promote healthy routines both in my professional and private life. Because I am a woman of my time, I will prioritise my health and well-being.
